GENERAL :

Although rugby is a less known sport in the US, it is actually one of the most popular sports in the world, played by over 5 million people in 120 countries. It is currently the fastest growing team sport in the United States, with a current estimate of 1.2 million rugby players.  

One of the best parts of rugby is that there is truly a position for every player. In youth sports, a child’s size or body type can easily determine whether a particular sport will be an option for that youth player. The Fairfield Rugby Club’s (FRC) growth and success serves as a model for other teams across this state and country.
